In the preparation of chocolate, cocoa, cocoa butter and sugar are mixed and melted together. When chocolate is subjected to temperature changes, it can happen that the cocoa butter used in the preparation of the chocolate sticks to the surface and a white layer appears. Don't worry! This white layer poses no danger to your health. Remember, however, to store Loison products in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources.
